The Simstone Story

Simstone (Pty) Ltd was established as a simulated stone manufacturer in 2004, with the aim of filling the gap in the market for exceptional quality concrete products resembling natural stone. The company was founded initially as a family business with Niek Brits, a civil engineer, as CEO. Niek has specialised in this field since 1974, with an extensive interest in precast concrete products. He has created and grown several successful businesses and is a respected community leader.

Simstone (Pty) Ltd has since expanded substantially to include civil engineering precast products. With the latest addition of our kerbstone plant, we will offer pronounced growths in supply, production lead times and quality. We manufacture a wide range of standard type civil products, but also offer specialised non-standard products.

During 2011 the company expanded to Eastern Cape. The company has a dedicated and professional marketing and back office team at both branches. We pride ourselves on being attentive to client needs.

Simstone offer accredited pressure and performance tests on all our products on request. We offer transportation of our products.

Our Landscaping products are manufactured from precast concrete, mixed with inorganic oxide pigment for evenly distributed colour and durability. No slag is used in our concrete mix and dolomite aggregate is added for corrosion resistance. Our products are manufactured to exceed the South African national standards.
